From June to Mid October the Alps come alive and change through the seasons.  As the snow clears, the meadows fill with an abundance of wild flowers and the cattle and sheep move higher to their summer pastures, a network of paths are revealed to lead you to the far reaching ends of the valleys and days of memorable adventure.  As the summer moves on the colours continue.  From the vivid greens of spring, pastures darken the leaves turn fiery oranges and reds providing a spectacular farewell to the summer before winter arrives.

Come and walk in the Tarentaise and Aoste valleys.  We have lived in the Tarentaise valley since 2001 and are passionate about the area.  We will reveal some of our favourite spots in the area to you (although you will need more than a week to see them all).

We can advise on the routes so that they are suited to your groups' level making sure that you are never overstretched and have time to enjoy your surroundings.

If you would prefer to be guided on your walks we can organise a qualified guide for you.

Why not spend the night in a high mountain refuge?

You don't have to hike for hours to experience a night in a mountain refuge.  Spend the day walking up in the high mountains before reaching the refuge. Here you can make yourself at home and relax. Unwind and soak up the atmosphere, spot animals with binoculars, play cards or just watch the sun set.  So you don't have to worry about cooking you can purchase a simple, wholesome evening meal in the refuge.

The following morning either push on a little further or take a leisurely walk back down to the valley and your return trip to the chalet for your next adventure.
