Welcome to A Mountain Chalet.  We are situated in the French alpine village of La Rosiere 1850.  If you've never heard of La Rosiere then you've just discovered one of the Alps best kept secrets.. Right in the heart of the Tarentaise valley, A Mountain Chalet offers you a great base to explore this amazing region.  We're passionate about the area and believe that it is the perfect place to enjoy the summer.

The Alps in the summer are magnificent.  There are rolling green pastures scattered with alpine flowers, there are huge forests full of flora and fauna and all of this is set off with a back drop of spectacular snow capped mountains. 

If you are looking for an activity holiday, a relaxing holiday or a mixture of both this is the place for you.

 

 

Our aim to is to give you a relaxing, enjoyable holiday where you can leave the worries of home behind and be looked after for a week. 

We provide you with everything you could possibly want on your summer holiday, an airport transfer, en-suite bedrooms, homemade cakes everyday, a wholesome and delicious 3 course meal.  Most importantly we have been in La Rosiere since 2002 and so are in the best position to give you any advice you may need.
