At an altitude of 1850m, La Rosiere is one of the highest villages in the French Alps.  It is the last village on the Petit St Bernard Pass before it crosses into Italy.  The locals are very proud of their village and this shows throughout.  A lot of the people who work in resort are local to the resort and they welcome you to their home with pride.

Thanks to the Petit St Bernard Pass attracting clouds and Mont Blanc then trapping them, combined with the altitude, La Rosiere has one of the best snow records in the French Alps.  With it’s south facing slopes it is also the sunniest resort in the Savoy so providing the perfect combination of snow and sun!
